| Abstract: | This article examines the strategic management implications of sustainable consumption and production for companies in developing countries. It explores the origins of the new consumption agenda at the Earth Summit and reviews recent policy, business and community action. It then profiles a number of case studies highlighting opportunities for producers of more sustainable goods and services. The article closes with a set of priorities for future policy and corporate action. |
