| Abstract: | There has been prevailing a confrontation btw. developing and developed economies on the conservation of global commons. In this paper, the question arised are that 1) the environmental problems tend to be more severe in developing economies today than in developed economies both now and in the past. 2) It is quite possible to design an international cooperative scheme along the Kyoto Protocol which would promote both economic development and improvement in environmental conditions in developing economies. There is attached information e.g. on International comparison on commercial energy consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emission from industrial processes in 1995 and CO2 emission per USD 100 GNP of more than 20 countries. |
