Abstract:The study conducted by the authors invetigates how personality traits influence performance and satisfaction. The Self-determination theory was used as a basis for the work, from which three personality characteristics were used, to study how it influences performance and enjoyment. Data were collected from students. Based on the results, the authors argue that global personality traits can help researchers to understand and predict the motivational strategies that people use while working toward goals in achievement settings.
