Abstract: | The first wave of automation in personal banking services consisted in centralizing the accounts. The second wave - remote terminals - is well under way. It has caused as many problems as it has solved. The introduction of remote terminals has not reduced staff, demanded a lot of money and kept the customers out of the branch. The third wave is planned to solve these problems. It has three legs: 1) customer information file, 2) the interactive terminal and 3) artificial intelligence. The technological solutions already exists but no final solution has yet been made. |
