Abstract:It's ironic that "entrepreneur" is a French word - France doesn't figure much in conversations about economic miracles these days. But Ireland, Italy, Hungary, and Holland certainly do. Fighting to hold their own against the mega-economies of Germany and France, Europe's smaller powers are grasping capitalism with both hands. The result: Expansion in the niche countries will help carry Europe's overall growth to 3% next year. And what's good for the countries is good for the cities.
