Abstract:The requirement to get a corporate audit in the Czech Republic was implemented in 1992. The article summarizes the results of a questionnaire about auditing quality that was circulated to Czech enterprises in early 1996. There were 451 responses from a broad selection of enterprises. The analysis indicated that those respondents who were part of overseas enterprises had a more critical view of audit quality in the Czech Republic.
