| Abstract: | In the paper, a taxonomy of the research is presented including the relationship btw. quality and inventory. A literature review of more than 45 books and journal articles provides a basis for understanding the research in the area. The goal of the paper is to provide a broad overview of the major problems in the literature. Optimization, statistical analysis and simulation, viewpoint and policy literature are reviewed. The paper is the first attempt to review this subjective matter. |
