Abstract:The goal of a logistics business process is only then fulfilled when the logistic object´s status achieved corresponds to the quantified customer´s requirements of quality. The order-based definition of quality provides the foundation for further analyses using aggregated values on the basis of customer categories, regional groupings, etc. This allows the systematic identification and correction of error through the reengineering of these processes. The operational definition of quality described here thereby provides the basis for the cost and quality oriented design of logistics chains (original in German).
