| Abstract: | The national petroleum companies are enterprises. We must separate the functions of the government from those of the enterprise. The national petroleum companies should be the investment holding companies. They are the main body of the market competition in the management activity of petroleum national assets. The owner of the national petroleum company may appoint, dismiss and check the main managers of petroleum companies, participate to make the important decision, and decide the income distribution of the company assets. |
