| Abstract: | In 1996, the world economy will continue to grow and its economic growth rate is expected to reach 3.1%. The Western advanced countries' economy will maintain a good momentum of continuous resurgence. But these countries commonly slowed down their economy's growth. The economic growth in Asia and the Pacific region will continue to keep powerful and its economic speed is apparently higher than that of the advanced countries. The economic situation of the countries in the course of economic transformation in the central and east Europe continue to be good and their economic growth is speeded up. However the countries in Russian Federation haven't extricated themselves from crisis. The trend of economic slowdown of Russia hasn't ended but began to near stability. |
