| Abstract: | The Commission has published a notice on cooperation between itself and national competition authorities (NCAs) in handling cases under articles 85-86. It is a non-binding but authoritative statement of the Commission's views and practices. The note covers the roles of the NCAs and the Commission, guidelines on case allocation, based on the effects of the practices at national and EU level, and guidelines for cooperation where one side or the other has accepted the case first. |
