| Abstract: | The article compares traditional economic forecasting with more systematic, dynamic modelling of economic risks and rewards, game theory and chaos model by reviewing how these different methods are used in business and financial organizations. Central issue is that these different models lead to widely-divergent forecasts depending on underlying assumptions and epistemologies. |
