| Abstract: | An empirical research conducted in the U.K. showed that strategic planning is still going strong: About two-thirds of the firms involved in the query have a written mission statement and over 90% of them include medium/long term objectives. The most popular strategic analysis tool are: spreadsheet "what if" analysis, analysis of "key" or "critical" success factors, financial analysis of competitors and SWOT analysis. |
