| Abstract: | Two studies of the effects of purpose of appraisal and individual differences in stereotypes of women with evaluation of male and female raters, using fifty-two female and fifty-one male undergraduates and 2,810 raters in the second study to evaluate effectiveness of 8 male and 6 female professors. Purpose of appraisal, overview, laboratory study: method, procedures, materials, dependent measures and results. Limitations. Two Tables and two Figures illustrate the study. |
