Abstract:Reagan administration has produced its national space policy affecting a wide range of space-related activities.The reform aims to phase out government as a space services provider making the private sector responsible for design, financing, development and operation. Saving money in this way government can use its sources for space exploration and development more efficiently. New insurance provisions are needed for private sector.
