| Abstract: | WEA Germany is to buy the W. German independent company Teldec.This deal would rise WEA's market share by 10%, and would enrich its catalog with Decca classical repertoire and local, traditional folk music.The chairman of Teldec board says Teldec would remain an autonomous company operating independently of WEA. Teldec pressing plant is also included in the deal , unlike Direct Metal Mastering unit in Berlin with a new CD manufacturing process. |
