| Abstract: | In the first half of 1988 the German Federation Against Copyright Theft /GVU/ seized 31,000 illegal videocassettes. Owing to the media publicity German public is aware of the problem and helps GVU. 90 antipiracy experts met at the European Council in Strasbourg recently. They discussed the revision of copyright laws, suggested more serious penalties, and international cooperation against piracy. |
