Abstract:Most corporate health-care plans include a provision for the treatment of mental health problems, and an increasing number of employees are using it. There is a controversy around the issue of mental health care. The view that mental health problems should be classified as illnesses rather than as failures to adjust to life's problems lies at the heart of the controversy. To create more awareness of this problem is set as a purpose and light is shed on what some of the main issues are from both the employer's and the employee's point of view. Some companies are introducing special mental health programs for executives and senior managers.
