Abstract:The permanently changing nature of the environment of the corporations leads to the possible danger that while the theories of microeconomy are more and more refined, the basic premises and concepts inherent in the disciplines of microeconomy and management are not investigated or modified. The changes of the social values and the technological progress are the main reasons why premises that seem to be pragmatic lost their validity and there is an urgent need for a basic shift in thinking. Examples for this phenomena are the premises of marketing, manufacture, and management.
