| Abstract: | A review from the historical angle shows that China information industry has been growing always under the government guidance. To keep abreast of the times, the market competition element has been introduced into the development of information industry. The tendency is to disconnect government and enterprises, break monopolies step by step, participate in competition, break down telecommunication market and expand scale. With the new environment in front, China should adjust itself to the "Standard Competition" brought about by information industry. Many provinces have shifted to focus on information industry and enterprises based on communication, computer, software development, multimedia and other information resource development have sprung up already. |
