Abstract:The paper aims to present the results of a natural experiment involving academic cheating (hereafter as: ch-g.) by university students (here as: stunds). The relationship (here as: r-ship.) of moral judgment to actual behaviour is explored, as well as the r-ship. btw. the honesty of stunds. self-reports and the extent of ch-g. It was possible to determine the extent to which stunds. actually cheated on the take-home portion of an accounting exam. There are also more detailed results reported.
