Abstract:Four approaches are presented to new packaging enable a company to stimulate the market, establish a position, and gain a reputation for leadership. In some cases, innovative new packages and products can even offer an opportunity to create whole new businesses, and profits. In other cases, new packaging innovation can be accomplished with relatively little funds. This can be done, by transferring a concept successful in one industry to another. A company fostering innovative ideas creates a rich organizational climate that attracts capable entrepreneurs. In addition, companies can use package innovation to gain investor attention and build fully new values of the company.
