Abstract:The American Institute of CPAs new CPE requirement means that many accountants have to take CPE for the first time. A good educational source is the State CPA Societies. These societies have taken various approaches to support members fulfill their requirements. Members not in public practice have to balance dual or even treble requirements. Several State Societies try to get employers to reimburse CPAs for CPE.
