| Abstract: | This article investigates critical issues of experimental design related to rank-ordered conjoint analysis. Insights into basic patterns of experimental design are being provided. The influence of experimental framework on the quality of the outcomes is shown. Hypotheses are specified for practical applications; simulations are performed to check the validity of the hypotheses. It is shown that the internal validity of part-worth-estimates is influenced by the experimental framework - in particular type of design and of assessment task. |
