| Abstract: | Ways to bring regional gaps under control are to encourage eligible regions to speed up development before 2000 and shift the strategic focal points of regional economic development to acceleration of development and construction of Central and West China and to narrowing the gap. The state is to play her guiding role, make active interference in policies and input, and motivate and guide eastern regions and all walks of life in supporting central and western regions. |
