Abstract:China' tilting investment and regional gap present a positive change, that is, the investment tilting to the less developed areas will help narrow the regional gap, whereas the investment tilting to the advanced areas will widen the regional gap. The author raise the following suggestions: The state should increase properly input to the central and western areas and help them raise their infrastructure facilities capacity of service. The central and western areas should accelerate the system reform and make great efforts to better opening to the outside world. Besides they should establish the industrial structure which is able to give play to the regional superiority, promote the free flow of population and weaken people's awareness of localism.
