Abstract: | E-commerce is a potent and growing force worldwide. This paper reports research on the internationalization of websites to accommodate and encourage cross-border (hereafter as: c-c.) sales. Content analysis of 100 websites was conducted to determine utilization of five website traits that facilitate c-c. purchases. A comparison btw. European Union (EU) and United States (U.S.) service providers' websites indicates Europeans offer more of these features. In addition, differences are found among the industries examined and among the specific features utilized. |
