Abstract:Employees' off-duty conduct is suspected to affect their productivity as well as increase their employer's exposure to medical and product liability. This article addresses the topic by examining five categories of activity to help determine the legal limits of managers' right to investigate and regulate the off-duty behaviour of their employees.
