Abstract:The term of organizational goals is defined from the point of view of strategic management. The management of organizational goals are discussed, focusing on goal sources and the networks that link them to the operational decisions. Since leader's management style is a significant factor in the goal process, the interaction of the two is also addressed. Specific examples are drawn from such diverse organizations as Campell Soup, General Electric and United Defense Department.
