Abstract:The soft drinks market in 1992 was worth DKK 7398 million in current value. Over the five year period to 1992 total sales increased by 37 per cent by volume and by 21 per cent in current value. The real value of the market experienced an increase of almost 8 per cent. The increase in volume consumption of just over 20 per cent in 1992 has been attributed to the very warm summer of that year and the increasing preference of consumers towards fruit juice drinks instead of tea, coffee and milky beverages.
