Abstract:This report analyses the retail market for soft drinks in Spain during the period 1995 to 1999. A discrete analysis of sales through die horeca channel is included. Forecasts are to the year 2004. The market is divided into five sectors: Colas; Non-cola carbonates; Functional drinks; RTD tea / coffee; Concentrates. Colas include standard, low-calorie and other cola carbonates. Non-cola Carbonates comprise all juice- and non juice based carbonated soft drinks that axe not colas, including lemonade, orange, mixers and other non-cola carbonates. Functional drinks include sports drinks, energy drinks and elixirs. RTD Tea / Coffee packaged, ready-to drink tea and coffee. Liquid and powder concentrates that are diluted with water before consumption and are based on a fruit juice, cola or other type of concentrate. Frozen concentrates are included.
