| Abstract: | The orientation of venture capitalists towards capital development and company transmission has tended to highlight even further the lack of seed capital and capital formulation on financial markets. Entrepreneurs creating new companies can now count on only three sources of financing: savings, government aid and the banks. Hence French companies generally start up with insufficient capital and financial resources. An original financial experiment created by the Alsace Regional Council to assist companies in their start-up planning phase is described. |
