| Abstract: | In the article, issues of infrastructure in the EU are presented. In telecommunications, media and broadcasting, telecommunications has been recognized as a major factor in the whole industry's competitiveness and costs. The telecommunication is claimed to be one of the cornerstones for economic growth in Europe through the next century. The Commission considers telecommunication of crucial importance to the internal market. In the article, also issues of energy, transport, regional aid and trans-European networks (or TENs) are presented. |
