Abstract:The following report covers dry, fresh, frozen, canned and other packaged pasta products. This market segmentation is used by the UK industries. In France and Germany market segmentation focuses on egg and egg-free pasta. The Italian market is dominated by dry pasta, although developments in the frozen and fresh pasta sectors are also reviewed. The Spanish market segments into short (the dominant type), long and flat pasta and is not directly comparable with other markets.
