| Abstract: | The expansion of securities markets in developing countries can be a major source of capital for economic growth and development. In this study the relationship between the gross domestic products (GDPs) of developing countries and the securities market variables, including number of companies listed, market capitalization either in local currency or in US dollars, and trading value in either local currency or in US dollars, is investigated. |
