| Abstract: | This brief overview looks at 5 major issues as regards selected Asian countries. The author's reference to insurance will be to the non-life or property and casualty sector. As markets grow and mature, legislation is a natural by-product. It is important for those companies wishing to invest in the services sector of individual countries that there should be a solid regulatory foundation. The regulation must be consistent and understood. |
