| Abstract: | The article explores one facet of the relationship between the academic disciplines of tourism and hospitality. Citation analysis of journal articles in these fields confirms previous research that reveals that there is little intermingling of research btw. the fields of hospitality and tourism. More citations occur within disciplines than across them. However, by far the most citations are to sources outside the tourism and hospitality areas entirely. |
