Abstract:The purpose of this study is to analyse and calculate efficient nitrogen reductions and associated net benefits under international co-ordination of nitrogenreductions and single country actions for two different specifications of marginal benefits: uniform and differentiated. The empirical results show that total net benefits under internationally co-ordinated actions are considerably higher than when countries act on their own.
