| Abstract: | The paper attemps to rethink the everyday strategies, practices and processes that make change in organizations. A critical analysis is provided by focusing on business process re-engineering (BPR). The article also explores the limitations of BPR and its critiques. It concludes by suggesting five ways in which our appreciation of the ways and means of guru theorizing in general are altered. |
