| Abstract: | The Middle East attracts relative few visitors by reason of uncertainties and tensions. In spite of these unfavourable things Dubai has established itself as a popular destination with a high tourism growth rate. In Dubai there are great expections of the future but there are also several constraints that might inhibit development. This study serves to illustrate factors that are critical to destination development, main impediments and approaches to overcoming these. |
