| Abstract: | This article explores the determinants of the lack of awareness of financial assets. This lack of awareness was found out in a survey conducted by the Bank of Italy. The authors find that the awareness of financial assets is positively correlated with education, household resources, long-term bank relations and proxies for social interaction. |
