| Abstract: | This paper presents a two-step refinement of conceptual models. The new model of factors affecting convention participation decision-making comprises four main dimensions, association/conference factors, personal/business factors, location factors, and total cost factors. This proposed model should provide research insights, make a contribution to existing literature and guide future research on the factors affecting convention participation decision-making. |
