Abstract:A study of similarity between American senior vice-presidents and their British counterparts. The sample was based on executives of top management teams of the largest national companies dominating domestic economies. Substantial differences were found in terms of corporate grooming, education and domestic experience, and in self- concept aspiration levels and executive success traits. The author considers the results important for overseas investment patterns, the evaluation of managerial compatibility, acquisitions and competitive advantages in domestic markets.
