| Abstract: | Leaders who wish to be successful have to utilize a great many aids. Irrespective of the level of intelligence and the willingness to make decisions, management personnel are now subject to the favours and disfavours of their staff more than ever before. Successful leadership depends mainly on the ability of understanding and influencing other people. The order of precedence of personal needs as well as the needs profile of a department is affected by a leader. The effects of different management styles are also examined. The relationship between psychological needs and motivation is explained. |
