Abstract:BBC is occupying 4 TV channels and 2 radio channels on the Intelsat V satellite, and is transmitting 8 hours of programs from BBC1 and BBC2, and 8 hours of the BBC World Service in 9 European languages and in Arabic. Danish telephone company, KTAS will pay for the satellite time, and it will also pay BBC Enterprise a fee for every household receiving the services. BBC TV programs are already available on cable systems in France, Belgium, and Holland.
