Abstract:A major problem of company management is to decentralise and establish strong central controls simultaneously. They can be coordinated through a combination of information technology, entrepreneurial teams, multidisciplinary workers and trusty old management hierarchy. People will be decentralising in tomorrow's organizations but with more limited degrees of freedom. Success in the 90's will involve striking a balance between autonomy and control through several levels of organizational commandments. People are becoming integrators aided by new organizational forms and technologies. A case study for the technologies of concurrency is presented.
