| Abstract: | There are almost no international comparative studies regarding the output of research work in the field of business administration. This situation is rather surprising because of the growing importance of international competition not only between firms but also between institutions at university, college or faculty level. This paper presents a comparative and quantitative longitudinal analysis of publications by North-American and German scholars in the leading business and management journals of both regions. |
