| Abstract: | The author of this major study compares the significantly different approaches to business ethics on both sides of the Atlantic and considers what they have to learn from each other. The paper addresses three questions: (1) What is the appropriate basis to compare business ethics in North America and in Continental Europe? (2) What are the important differences between both approaches? (3) What can each side learn from the other in order to achieve a more comprehensive and better intagrated conception of business ethics? |
