Abstract: | Arbitration, instead of litigation, appears to be a quick, low-cost method of dispute resolution that serves the interests of all concerned. Most labour contracts, for example, provide for binding arbitration because of the advantages over court action. Similarly, in the securities industry, pre-dispute arbitration agreements are standard. |
