| Abstract: | Experiences are reported on the development of prototypes of expert systems for the analysis of balance sheets and profit-and-loss-statements. Development work is carried out in a joint venture of the chair of Business Informatics at the University of Nuremberg and DATEV Associates, Nuremberg. An expert system sets demands against hardware resources. Not only on the PC side but at the realization and implementation of host-processes restrictions must be taken into account as well. Storing and performance optimization is to be stressed as dialog application must run beside the expert system application. |
